North Little Rock has an Old Mill. It is a beautiful place to visit. But it is not really as old as it looks. The Old Mill was built 1931 to 1933. It was made to look old and abandoned. It is part of a neighborhood that has many lakes and trails. The builder wanted to make the neighborhood a beautiful place so the people who lived there would be happy. The Old Mill has many wood parts. But they are not wood. They are made of concrete. But they look like wood. They were made by a Mexican artist. His name was Senòr Dionico Rodriguez. His work helps to make the park beautiful. http://nlrpr.org/parks/old_mill/old_mill_history Homework: Write about the video. Tell what you see, what you hear, what you think.
